While many argue that the biggest e-discovery issue for corporate and outside counsel is dealing with massive amounts of data, Ipro Tech President and COO Kim Taylor looks at it a little differently.

“I think many will tell you it’s the growth of data. However, I feel that this issue has actually had a positive impact overall for corporations and corporate counsel. The data explosion and associated costs have been the tipping point for many corporations and GCs to really roll up their sleeves and dig into e-discovery,” Taylor said in an interview with Legaltech News. “That process has forced corporations to enhance and embrace technology, and many are seeing significant cost savings because of it. Armed with technology, they can actually focus more on upfront strategy and practicing law by getting through the data, cutting out the junk, and focusing in on the relevant documents faster than ever before.”
