King & Wood Mallesons has recruited former JPMorgan Chase & Co. Asia Pacific vice chairman Shao Zili to help lead its China practice.
Shao will serve as co-chair of King & Wood Mallesons’ China management committee along with global chairman Wang Junfeng. He will relocate from Hong Kong, where he had been based while working for JPMorgan, to Beijing when he joins the firm. He is expected to start before June 1.
