There is an “astonishing” lack of innovation inside corporate law departments. That’s according to Paul Zengilowski, client development executive at legal software development company Onit Inc. Zengilowski moderated the “Innovation Within the Law Department” keynote session at the 15th annual SuperConference in Chicago on May 12.

The panel discussion, which was comprised of: Steve Ihm, vice president, assistant general counsel and assistant secretary of Allstate; Reese Arrowsmith, vice president, head of operations of legal at Lincoln Financial Group; and David Cambria, global director of operations, law, compliance and government relations at Archer Daniels Midland Company.
