Editor’s note: Chief Justice Ronald D. Castille was named Attorney of the Year at The Legal’s Professional Excellence Awards dinner Wednesday. His fellow finalists were U.S. District Judge John E. Jones III of the Middle District of Pennsylvania and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius chairwoman Jami Wintz McKeon.
The award was voted on by a panel composed of seven Pennsylvania lawyers and two members of The Legal’s staff. The panel selected the three finalists for the award from a much longer list of candidates suggested by The Legal’s staff and members of the legal community, then selected the winner from among the finalists.
