Floods in Texas and Oklahoma. Ebola in the United States. A terrorist attack or urban riots. Governments, hospitals, universities and businesses must plan for such crises. And, increasingly, they are turning to lawyers to devise response plans.

To that end, the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law will launch a crisis management master of laws program next fall, as well as an LL.M. in cybersecurity.
