McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter welcomes three to its Morristown office. Todd Poland has joined the firm as a partner. He brings with him extensive experience in banking and corporate law. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He also attained his Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and his LLM. in Taxation from New York University. He was previously with McCarter & English in Newark. He also continues to work as an Adjunct Professor with Rutgers University School of Law. Peter Henry has joined the firm as of counsel. He has a real estate and land use practice and a large municipal practice. He received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark. He was previously with Dillon Bitar & Luther in Florham Park. Glenn Prives has joined the firm as an associate. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. cum laude from Brandeis University. He has significant experience representing hospitals, physicians, and health-care management companies in all aspects of health-care transactional and regulatory matters. He was previously with McCarter & English in Newark.

Weinberger Law Group in Parsippany welcomes Marquis Jones Jr., former deputy attorney general and New Jersey Superior Court judge for Ocean County, to its team of family law attorneys. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark in 1994, then worked in private practice for the next decade before being appointed deputy attorney general for the New Jersey Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor (OIFP) in 2004. The New Jersey Legislature installed Jones as a Superior Court Judge for Ocean County in January 2008. He was one of only two African Americans to serve on the Ocean County Superior Court bench at the time.
