The website of the Texas judiciary is one of the top 10 court websites in the nation.
A major redesign to txcourts.gov earned the award from the National Association for Court Management, said David Slayton, administrative director of the Texas Office of Court Administration. He said the site won the honor for being user-friendly and dynamic, providing helpful information and making the information easy to find.
“It's really nice to have the hard work recognized. All the different courts and agencies that worked on the website spent a lot of time and put a lot of thought in developing a website that would be helpful. Being recognized as one of the top 10 in the nation—and actually internationally—is pretty exciting,” Slayton said.
