On the heels of rolling out its campaign to “end e-discovery”, discovery automation company Logikcull announced it will offer unlimited processing and storage on its subscription plans, eliminating the data-based pricing that has long defined legal technology services. For a flat fee, Logikcull users are now offered unlimited uploads, processing, storage, users and productions.

In the announcement, company officials called the move “a forceful bid to remove the data confines that have hamstrung organizations facing litigation and others who have long been forced to swallow volume-based costs for a wide range of services.”

The current per-gigabyte pricing “is a vestige of the dying e-discovery model that contributes to the wildly erratic costs organizations are no longer willing to stomach,” Logikcull CEO Andy Wilson said in a statement. “Our new model reflects Logikcull's commitment to pricing transparency. Every provider talks about predictable fees. With unlimited data, we're walking the walk.”
