Somewhere in the aftermath of the latest recession, expectations about the performance of the legal department changed dramatically. As a result, software and services that aid legal departments in the quest for efficiency have proliferated. Morae Legal is the latest group to offer service in that quest, and on September 2, the group, which is comprised of a number of industry veterans, announced that it is open for business.
The company will aid its legal department clients by offering consultation and services that improve performance through the use of technology, staffing options and business planning. According to the announcement, the group will focus on streamlining discovery, outsourcing, and claims management for corporate legal teams.
