“Serial,” the podcast and soon-to-be television series, has nothing on Michael Loesberg. The former Greenberg Traurig partner left the firm’s New York office in early September to become a partner at Kelley Drye & Warren, only to end up at Blank Rome this week.

Blank Rome announced Wednesday its hire of Loesberg as of counsel in its finance, restructuring and bankruptcy group in New York. Lawrence Flick II, co-chair of Blank Rome’s financial services industry team, said that Loesberg’s official start date was Thursday, meaning that the firm’s new hire barely missed out on a rare three-firms-in-one-month trifecta.
