Detroit-based Dickinson Wright, which in September took on seven lawyers from a dissolving IP boutique in Washington, D.C., has launched a new health care consulting venture in Nashville called DW Franklin Consulting Group.

The Nashville Business Journal and Nashville Post report that Dickinson Wright will staff its new affiliate with two new hires: Adams and Reese health care chair C. TIMOTHY GARY and KERRY HART, the founder of a health care consultancy who has also served as CEO of two other companies. Gary, who joined Adams and Reese in 2009, previously was a senior vice president and COO at Gordian Health Solutions, a Nashville-based subsidiary of BlueCross Blue Shield of Tennessee.
