Vandalism at Harvard Law: Harvard Law School students arrived for class Thursday and discovered strips of black tape placed across the photographs of black professors that are displayed outside a lecture hall. A Harvard police spokesman said it’s an “open and active investigation,” the Boston Globe reports. “Expressions of hatred are abhorrent, whether they be directed at race, sex, sexual preference, gender identity, religion, or any other targets of bigotry,” Harvard law dean Martha Minow said in a statement.
