A Boca Raton medical equipment company hopes to get a whistleblower case tossed after learning the plaintiffs attorney used to do legal work for the company.

Fort Lauderdale attorney Parker Eastin and his firm, Nicholson & Eastin, were disqualified from the case in March. U.S. Magistrate Judge James M. Hopkins found Eastin acquired protected information when his previous firm represented Med-Care Diabetic & Medical Supplies Inc.
