Victor Ashrafi, who spent two decades as a New Jersey judge and was a federal prosecutor before that, has become the latest ex-jurist to move to a large firm, joining the alternative dispute resolution practice at Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti.

Though some firms are only starting in earnest to build an ADR practice, Morristown-based Riker Danzig has had one for a number of years—led by former New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Stewart Pollock.
