It’s that awkward week between Christmas and the New Year, and you probably couldn’t give a hoot about what’s happening in the wonderful world of law. You’re probably skiing somewhere out West or sunning yourself in the Yucatan or Cabos. 1. It’s official: Law school enrollment dropped 5 percent in 2015. That’s according to American Bar Association based on statistics submitted by its 205 ABA-approved law schools. The National Law Journal reports:
This year, first-year students totaled 37,058 students, compared with last year’s tally of 37,894, marking a nearly 30 percent drop in first-year enrollment since 2010′s high-water mark of 52,488 students.
