Jones Day has hired a new corporate partner in its third Australian office, located in Brisbane.

Isaac West joins from Brisbane-based firm McCullough Robertson, where he was a partner advising on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions, especially for companies in the agribusiness and natural resources sectors. Last year, West advised government-run Queensland Investment Corp. on the acquisition of an 80 percent stake in the cattle company North Australian Pastoral Co.
