Joanna Gaines, half the star duo behind the HGTV hit “Fixer Upper,” says she'll submit to a deposition in a lawsuit she's not a party to, but only for a $150,000 appearance fee, according to The Blast.

The lawsuit is between two companies, Standard Furniture Manufacturing Company and LF Products, involved in furniture Gaines sells under her Magnolia Home brand with her husband and co-star, Chip.

Standard Furniture Manufacturing Company and LF Products are battling it out over a disagreement over the quality of the raw material that was used on the furniture made for the line. Gaines is alleged to be the one who discovered the furniture was made with a different type of material than what was agreed upon.

LF Products wanted documents Gaines is believed to have, but her lawyer told the company she would only look for them if she received the six-figure reimbursement, the website reported. She determined that dollar amount based on a previous offer for an appearance, The Blast said the documents indicate.

“Gaines wants no part of sitting for a deposition for LF Products and filed documents in the case saying the request is burdensome and unnecessary since she isn't a party to the suit,” The Blast reported. “She said she was willing to answer questions via a written deposition.”

LF Products asked the judge in the case to order Gaines to sit for the deposition.

The wildly popular Gaineses co-host the home-improvement show based in Waco, Texas, and oversee other business endeavors, including consumer products, real estate and retail. They're also expecting their fifth child.
