Welcome to Compliance Hot Spots , our briefing on compliance, enforcement and government affairs. I've spent the past couple days between my Washington office and the Compliance Week conference, which I've thoroughly enjoyed. We heard from a top Volkswagen executive talk about the automaker's efforts to reform its culture in the aftermath of the emissions scandal. Also, Hui Chen, the Justice Department's former top compliance expert, tells us what her dream compliance team would look like. And early reports on the House vote to roll back parts of Dodd-Frank. As always, thanks for reading, and we value any feedback. Tips or other other suggestions? What's on your plate? Contact me at [email protected] or 202-828-0315, or follow me on Twitter @cryanbarber. |
