ALM is teaming up with in-house counsel from some of the world's largest companies to host bicoastal, mock pitch events in front of real clients, all in an effort to help rising women lawyers sharpen their pitch skills. These training sessions will be held in New York on October 10 and San Francisco on November 14.

Join ALM's editors to learn more about how the “Perfecting Your Pitch” event will work, what benefits it offers participants, and what the general counsel hope to see from the lawyers who will be pitching in response to a fictional scenario created by our in-house volunteers.

The scenario revolves around an M&A deal and incorporates an array of legal considerations— spanning labor and employment, intellectual property, tax, corporate governance and data privacy—making it ideal for multi-disciplinary teams. The training portion of the event is followed by a networking lunch.

We will host a call to answer FAQs about the event, including how law firms can get involved, what they should expect from that day and what their lawyers will get out of participating.
