How do we turn data into knowledge? Orix USA general counsel Ron Barger has some ideas, and he wants the law firms he hires to help make it happen.
As the head of operations for the investment banking and financial services firm based in Dallas, Barger looks for outside counsel who can help him “see around the corners”—to go beyond the role of counselor and to serve as companions and guides for the future of his business.
Key to making that happen, Barger says, is through the efficiency of technology.
In this episode, Heather Nevitt, editor-in-chief of Law.com affiliate Corporate Counsel, Inside Counsel and Texas Lawyer, talks with Barger about the evolving relationship between law firms and in-house counsel and technology's function in collaboration.
