Recent suicides of Big Law partners have put a spotlight on the dysfunctional work culture inside large firms, where we already know that mental health and substance abuse problems are higher than in other professions.
Will Meyerhofer has a unique perspective on the situation. As a former Sullivan & Cromwell associate, Meyerhofer quit Big Law to become a psychotherapist in New York, where many of his patients still practice in elite firms and come to him for help with struggles that he's all too familiar with.
