Continued strains in the Sino-U.S. relationship have made Asia-based lawyers uncertain about opportunities in China in 2019. But many are enthusiastic about the market in Southeast Asia.

Although upcoming trade talks between the U.S. and China may help de-escalate a tariff war, many uncertainties caused by trade disputes will likely remain, lawyers say.
