If plaintiffs lawyer David Sanford is feared by Big Law leaders, he's revered by attorneys who experience gender bias at work.
In this week's episode, Law.com's The Careerist Vivia Chen talks to Sanford about sexual harassment, unequal pay, and origination and promotion disparity in Big Law.
Sanford, chairman of Sanford Heisler Sharp, represents numerous women partners and has settled cases against Chadbourne & Parke (now Norton Rose Fulbright), Proskauer Rose and Sedgwick. He's also brought gender bias lawsuits against Jones Day, Morrison & Foerster, Ogletree Deakins and others.
Sanford shares his views with Chen about the changes necessary to level the field in Big Law.
