The American Bar Association has released a trove of statistics relating to the legal profession, and Law.com is spending this week poring over the data. Today, we’re breaking down some key statistics on lawyer pay—namely, how the average lawyer salary has changed over the past two decades. We’re also looking at the 10 U.S. cities where lawyers make the most dough, and how lawyer pay stacks up to other professions. Note: These figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics cover wages for all lawyers but do not include profits for law firm partners and shareholders
