SCALIA 2.0 - Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Eugene Scalia, the Trump administration’s pick for U.S. Labor Secretary, is set to appear today for his U.S. Senate confirmation hearing. Scalia, a former U.S. labor solicitor, can expect questions and criticism over his pro-business advocacy. Scalia co-leads Gibson Dunn’s administrative law and regulatory practice group and he was the former leader of the firm’s labor team. He’s represented some of the country’s biggest companies, including Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, HSBC, CVS and Walmart.
