How often during the week do you work out? Four times a week. Every week I try to hit the gym twice and also go for an extended walk twice.

At what time during the day or evening do you work out? At lunchtime.

Michael Kelly. Michael Kelly.

What's your go-to routine? I am on the road quite often. I try to do 20 minutes of cardio on a stationary bike, followed by 25 minutes of circuit weight training. I do this at least two times per week. In addition, I try to walk for at least 30 minutes another two times a week. I count walking nine holes on a golf course as one of my walking workouts.

How long does it take? Forty-five minutes two times a week. Thirty minutes or more of walking two times a week.

Why do you like this routine? I make sure I always get two workouts in each week. The combination of lifting and cardio at once suits my schedule. My identical twin is head of sports/ shoulder surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He recommended this workout.

What does regular exercise do for you? Clears my head, helps with weight control and keeps me from looking like the Pillsbury Doughboy.

How long have you been exercising regularly? Since I stopped playing sports in college.

In what ways have you changed your routine over the months or years? While chairman, due to the pressure of my schedule, I found myself hitting the gym at odd hours. I am not a morning person, but I am no stranger to 6 a.m. workouts.

How do you convince yourself to work out when you don't want to? I am very fortunate to have survived a very aggressive cancer, stage 3b gallbladder cancer. I have no choice but to do my best to stay in shape.
