If you're like millions of other lawyers, you're tied to your desk most days. And while that may be good for your clients, it's hell on your body.

Hours of sitting, typing on devices and traveling on airplanes lead to shoulder, back and hip pain, not to mention unwanted body fat.

For those times when you can't break away from your duties to hit a yoga class or go for a walk, you can still combat the effects of too much immobility by spending a minute or two several times a day to stretch and give those tight, shortened muscles some relief before they turn into serious issues.

In this video, Dr. Nick Cruze, a triathlete and top San Francisco chiropractor and soft tissue specialist, shares five stretches he most often recommends to desk-bound lawyers to safely provide relief.
