Trump's New Supreme Court Picks: The Good, the Bad and the Campaign Trope

President Donald Trump added 20 new names to his list of potential U.S. Supreme Court picks this week—even as he and Joe Biden don't have a guaranteed post-election vacancy to fill.

Trump first deployed the list during the 2016 campaign to prove his conservative credentials. More than 200 federal judicial appointments and two Supreme Court justices later, the list is bigger than ever—and it seems to be a sign of the values a second Trump administration would embrace, and a parade of the judges his administration has managed to get on the federal bench.
