Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away Sept. 18. Nine days later, President Donald J. Trump announced his pick of U.S. Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the high court vacancy. Barrett's confirmation hearing before the U.S. Senate is slated to begin Oct. 19.
