The man was charged with one count of interstate communications containing threats to injure, and one count of threatening to assault and murder a federal judge. He sent the judge and others an email stating the jurist is "a traitor" who "needs to be dealt with, and traitors have a death sentence."

A self-represented litigant has been arrested on charges that he allegedly threatened to carry out a "death sentence" against a U.S. District Court judge for the District of New Jersey after becoming impatient with the slow progress of the litigation.
