A (Narrow) Window of Opportunity

The coronavirus crisis and the associated economic upheaval is an opportunity for law firms to bring their business practices into the twenty-first century. That's the message that two business and operations leaders had today on a Law.com Pro webinar that I also participated in on budgeting for 2021.

"Whatever windows that are open, that you can drive some change: jump through them," said Perkins Coie chief practice management officer Toby Brown. "Once firms have a decent year and see 2021 going into a strong mode, the appetite for change will mellow."
