No matter who wins on November 3, one thing is certain: many in the legal industry will be more than relieved it's all over, according to a recent Law.com survey on the impact of the 2020 U.S. election.

The survey, which was conducted over the week ending Oct 23, includes responses from 150 legal professionals, almost 60% of whom work in law firms, with others coming from legal departments, alternative legal service providers, law schools and academia, local courts, government agencies, nonprofits and solo practices, among other organizations.

A vast majority, 85%, of respondents said the election affected their mental health, with almost all of those adding the impact was at least somewhat negative.
