The rule of law in Hong Kong is being questioned once again after four opposition lawmakers, including two barristers, were dismissed from their roles, prompting nearly all of Hong Kong's remaining opposition lawmakers to resign in protest.

The move has left the city's legislature with almost no opposition voices.
