As 2020 comes to close, we're taking a look back at some of our standout episodes, with a particular focus on how the legal industry has adapted to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

First up is a clip from McDermott, Will & Emery chairman Ira Coleman, who explains how his firm responded to the pandemic and kept its business on track. After that, we'll take you back to our April interview with Zoom COO Aparna Bawa. At the time, Bawa was the company's GC and adjusting to Zoom's explosive growth.

Next, we'll jump to an August episode with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan partner Maaren Shah, who offered a perspective on how the pandemic could open doors for women partners by removing traditional barriers to business development. From there, we'll hear from Cooley partner Mike Attanasio, chair of the firm's global litigation department, about the problems he sees with remote jury proceedings.

Finally, we return to an interview with Stephanie Biderman, a managing director of global consultancy Major Lindsey & Africa, which focuses on the unique challenges that associates are facing during the pandemic.
