Car owners in the Northeast may want to take a second look at their auto policies and ensure they are properly protected in case of an accident, as new data pinpoints the most at-risk regions for accidents, citations and other traffic trends. QuoteWizard recently released its fifth annual driver study for 2020, which ranked all 50 states on which had the best and worst drivers. The study's findings were based on analysis of over 2 million insurance quotes from QuoteWizard drivers. To compose its 2020 ranking, QuoteWizard researchers gave a composite score to states based on four driving incident factors: Accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs and citations. The study took a look at other driving factors, including which states recorded the most speeding tickets or had the most DUIs. The study also analyzed and determined which states had the most accidents last year. Interestingly, Northeast states dominated this list, but not other sub-lists that correlate with accidents, including states with the most DUIs and states with the most citations. In the slideshow above, discover which states recorded the most car accidents last year, according to QuoteWizard. Related: |
