Law.com recently conducted a reader survey to determine whether attitudes toward marijuana consumption have shifted in the legal industry to mirror softening attitudes among the general public across the U.S.

What many of the 106 respondents—the majority of whom were law firm partners and associates, with many living and working in states where recreational marijuana use still isn’t legal—told us was that while pot use is prevalent across the industry and is likely to become even more so in years to come, the topic is still too taboo to talk about in most professional settings.
