Pop star Britney Spears has given lawyers plenty to talk about with her continuing campaign to end her 13-year-long conservatorship. But there’s one area of the law where they can’t find much to say: How to get out of one.

In a two-hour long Zoom panel discussion Thursday titled “Conserving Britney,” California lawyers and judges examined the complex web of wills, estates and probate law as it applies to conservatorships. They saved the topic of “termination” for the end.
