A New Top FCPA Cop at DOJ

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit in Main Justice has a new permanent chief. David Last, who has led the unit in an acting capacity since April, dropped the "acting" from his title last week.

The unit, which focuses on policing the landmark anti-bribery law that bars American companies from paying bribes to build their businesses overseas, brings some of Main Justice's biggest white-collar cases.
