Editor's Note: We'll be back in two weeks with new episodes, but until then we're highlighting an interview from June that you might have missed on a topic that never goes out of style.
This episode of Legal Speak is your chance to get some pointers on legal writing from a sitting judge without worrying about having your motion tossed out. Am Law Litigation Daily editor and columnist Ross Todd chats with 10th Circuit Judge Robert E. Bacharach, author of the recent book, "Legal Writing: A Judge's Perspective on the Science and Rhetoric of the Written Word." The book examines legal writing through the lens of psycholinguistics, a branch of cognitive science focused on how the brain processes language and speech.
