The results of Illinois’ July 2021 bar exam are likely to be delayed beyond Oct. 1 amid an ongoing probe into technical issues some test-takers experienced, the state’s Board of Admissions to the Bar said in a notice posted to its website earlier this week.

The board said Monday that it “is committed to carefully reviewing all information from examinees who experienced technical problems during the July 2021 bar exam. As a result, we anticipate that the announcement of bar exam results will be delayed beyond October 1. We are not able as of this writing to provide an anticipated date for certain.”
