In this week's episode, Law.com litigation reporter Cedra Mayfield talks with Dax Lopez, who recently went into private practice as a personal injury lawyer after 11 years on the bench as a state court judge in DeKalb County, Georgia.
In his conversation with Mayfield, Lopez draws on the perspective he's gained from both vantage points to explain what litigators should and, perhaps more importantly, shouldn't do inside and outside the courtroom, from meandering in their legal arguments to ignoring court orders to saying "stupid stuff" on social media.
