DLA Piper’s Brazil affiliate, Campos Mello Advogados, has poached a team of five lawyers from Mayer Brown’s Brazilian affiliate to expand the firm’s capabilities in oil and gas, maritime, litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on environmental and sustainability initiatives.

“We have been working with our Latin America and Brazil leaders and clients to identify key areas where we need to respond to marketplace demands,” Frank Ryan, DLA Piper’s Americas chair, said in a statement.
