A nearly 5-year-long lawsuit against former President Donald Trump came to an end Friday, when attorneys for Trump and Summer Zervos, a former contestant on “The Apprentice” reality-television program, filed a stipulation of discontinuance in Manhattan supreme court.

Zervos sued Trump for defamation in January 2017 after he described as a “hoax” her allegations that he groped and kissed her without her consent.
