A federal jury convicted a former West Virginia police officer in Charleston for using excessive force against an arrestee Thursday.
The jury heard evidence over the course of two days that showed that former Logan police officer Everett Maynard, 44, assaulted the victim in the bathroom of the Logan Police Department.
