Michael Miller, described by a colleague as a “warrior in the trenches” in the litigation over Monsanto’s Roundup pesticide, died Nov. 24 at the age of 69.

Miller, of The Miller Firm in Orange, Virginia, was a lead member of the plaintiff trial teams that obtained two Roundup verdicts, one for $289 million and one for $2 billion. He also was co-lead counsel in both the Roundup multidistrict litigation, in the Northern District of California, and the related California state court litigation.
