Baker McKenzie is the latest firm to raise its salary for newly qualified associates in Germany as competition for talent heats up. 

The firm raised its salaries to a range of €120,000 to €140,000 for its first-year associates in Germany as of November 2021—up from €105,000 to €120,000, according to a spokesperson.
