A New Jersey attorney was censured on Dec. 9 following his conviction for shoplifting from a ShopRite supermarket. 

Cary J. Frieze was arrested in March 2019 for shoplifting $47.13 from a ShopRite in Hanover, New Jersey. An employee observed Frieze conceal the merchandise and purchase 40-cent biscuits before leaving the store. The store’s security camera footage revealed that Frieze had shoplifted $470.23 in seven visits over the previous 12 days, court records showed.
