The Shift: Is the 'Great Resignation' Really the 'Great Reflection'?

So much is being discussed around the ongoing talent war and specifically the 'Great Resignation.' But as a recent contributor to Corporate Counsel pointed out—maybe it should really be called the 'Great Reflection' due to the fact that we're not seeing lawyers question whether they should be practicing law, but rather reflecting on how, why, and for whom they practice it.

"People expect more of their employer today," said Betsy Tucci, general counsel of Los Angeles-based InStride. "It is not just the place where you show up and you do your 8-5, and you go home. It is a community, it is an enabler, it is an opportunity to make an impact."
