The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit upheld the district court’s dismissal of a class action lawsuit against Champion Petfoods USA, finding a group of pet owners failed to allege misleading statements on dog food packaging.

The plaintiffs alleged that Champion’s packaging on its Acana and Orijen brands of dog food were false and misleading and that they were induced to buy it based on various false statements.
