Homesite Insurance Agency Inc., American Family Insurance Group and Geico were slapped with an insurance coverage lawsuit Tuesday in Minnesota District Court over stolen cryptocurrency tokens valuing over $750,000. The lawsuit was filed by Madia Newville LLC on behalf of Evan Rosenberg and Shira Rosenberg, who allege their homeowners insurance policy should cover the hacked crypto wallets. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 0:22-cv-00691, Rosenberg et al v. Homesite Insurance Agency, Inc. et al.
